Best Natural Pet Food List | NecDogs Recommendation
The disruption of Natural pet food last year scared all pet owners. I later learned about pet nutrition and what should and what shouldn't be in our pet's diet. My dog Abby was suffering from a severe skin allergy at the time and needed more prednisone to control her itch. Ear infections were also a recurring problem for him and antibiotics no longer helped him. From everything I've read about pet nutritional needs, I suspect the problem was with food, a well-known and expensive commercial pet food that I think contains questionable ingredients like chemicals, preservatives, and by-products.
Natural Pet Food List |
I decided to switch her diet to a completely natural dry food supplemented with raw vegetables and the results were amazing. It has been over a year since I turned it on and have had no ear allergies or antibiotics since July 2007. He was so obsessed with the commercial pet food industry and fascinated by how he could transform the diet. To that end, I created a blog last year to share my experience with Abby.
I have now compiled a list of my recommended pet foods that will be permanently posted on my blog "The Cat / Dog Log" to mention all pet owners. There are a lot of pet foods out there, so I'll need your help to make the list as complete as possible. If you're using a feed that meets the following criteria and isn't listed, please leave a comment with the product name on my NecDogs blog so I can add it. Some companies make more than one product; For example, your canned product may meet the criteria while the drying cord cannot. So be careful when including your pet's food.

- List criteria:
* The first ingredient must be meat referred to as "chicken" (not "chicken meal" -
Whether "chicken meal" (example) is the second or third ingredient is not considered.
* Without by-products
* Corn is not because it is difficult to digest and is a major cause of pet allergies.
* Bold should indicate, such as B. "chicken fat", not just "animal fat".
* Preservatives must be natural and not chemical, for example, vitamin E.
For example, regarding the "chicken meal", according to Wikipedia, the quality of the protein in the "chicken meal" depends on the type and quantity of meat in the mixture, and although it is better than the "chicken byproduct". An inferior source of protein than "chicken". Chicken food is chicken meat, on the other hand, chicken by-products can be any part of the bird including bird's beak, feathers, legs, intestines, etc.
In the case of "fat", if the product does not identify the animal from which the fat was obtained and is only referred to as "animal fat", the contributing animal is unknown and consequently, the oil contains very little linoleic acid. Which is essential for the health of the skin and coat.
Pet foods with meat as the first ingredient tend to be the most expensive and I know we can't all afford premium pet foods. There are many other good pet foods that have chicken food as the first ingredient, but my goal was to list the best pet foods on the market. One tip I use is to combine a top brand with a cheap but all-natural brand to reduce costs and go beyond that, but my pets are still getting premium food. I also give them a raw meal a day to make sure they are getting the best high-protein food I can get. In terms of premium content and convenience, BARF World's Frozen Raw Food burgers have nothing to lose. Try the low, but very convenient, honest kitchen dehydrated raw mix and just add water. You can also consider making your own raw food mix and my blog has detailed information on how to do it. I know it takes a little longer, but it's cheap and raw vegetables are the best food for your dog or cat.
