Wishing she had never been born, Roberta became a patient of Mary, worried about improving her mental health. Like the legendary George Bailey character, Robert's frustration and anxiety escalated to the point that his ability to lead a normal life was threatened. Step 3: Celebrate it all.
The third fun rule to help you use natural humor remedies for your mental health is: celebrate everything. Celebrating everything seems like a memorable task for someone whose mental health is not all the same, but it will be easier to follow this part of my doctor's order when he starts following my first two orders. In fact, celebrating everything is more than taking care of lasting mental health. It will become part of your life, the more you practice it, the more you will enjoy the results.
How do you celebrate it all and how do you keep your sanity? The order is based on an old joke about a boy asking for a pony for his birthday. Instead, he sees a house full of compost for him. But she roared happily and went to the shit: "With all this shit there must be a pony somewhere!"
As much as we laugh, we soon discover that as adults we will never allow ourselves to be so "innocent". Why not? What do you think are behind these decisions to "grow" and "grow"? For example, my daughter-in-law broke her back last year. My son, who is often my role model for embodying my strange commands, can write a long list of blessings for his family as a direct result of his wife's "tragedy". It's not that his mental health wasn't questioned, but he chose the latter as an alternative to the frustration and fear of an event rather than being blessed by it.
There is no substitute for celebrating everything. My son's choice did nothing to change his wife's injury. What has changed, however, is your ability to respond to injury and thereby maintain your sanity. Celebrating anything changes our lives because it allows us to control only the things we can positively control: our actions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Start with the extra yellow mile, use your new energy of laughter and enthusiasm to exercise, and do your best to stay connected with people and keep your dynamic positive. Say goodbye to depression and anxiety and welcome to the new world of better mental health!
